governance

Shipowners and investors have traditionally been private individuals. Even after the recent boom years, the number and capitalization of publicly listed shipping companies is relatively small compared to the weight of private money. There have been a number of shipping IPOs and bond issues which, in theory, gave opportunities to the outside investor, but in reality the quality of these investments has often been questionable. Shipping professionals make up one quarter of Perseverance’s shareholders by number and hold nearly 35% of our equity. These investors serve as important sources of advice, contacts and deals. Our management and project partners are highly experienced.

  • Since inception, Perseverance Marine Holdings Ltd. has been audited by Moore Stephens of London.
  • Deloitte and Touche LLP provides tax advice and related services.
  • A Shareholder Agreement governs the management and oversight of the company and investors’ rights and obligations.
  • The Directors, who personally hold a significant share of Perseverance’s equity, maintain frequent contact with shareholders by telephone, e-mail, visits and Annual and other periodic reports.
